Never Runs Smooth

sushi_fic and mal_inara (just finished it today, in fact) but decided it belonged here as well. *g* It's set in the Firefly universe, and takes off after a series of Firefly fanfics that captured my imagination (and has since become a universe all its own).
In the summary, I reference links to where in the time line this takes place, but if you're determined to read it without the history, I think you'll get the gist soon enough as well (but you should read them if you like Firefly. Go on *shoos reader* ;-) .

If you're taking the time to read it, I hope you enjoy. I felt vulnerable with my fan fiction floating out there in the verse but not archived on my own site, so here it is... *g*
