OMG! Uniclaw no more! *throws confetti over you* That's great! Definitely be careful not to push it, too! I know the temptation must be great.
No, I'm not avoiding you! I can't have you thinking that! Of course, now that you say that, I realize you pinata'd me on my last post *will toddle off to comment there too once done here*... My bad!
I know!!! I love that I got nominated, too! *sobs* Why oh why can't I be more prolific with my writing? Of course, having a stressful job is *not* conducive to increased creativity, either *sighs*.
Hopefully, though, if I continue to weather the tough times, things will start to improve by the fall (I can't tell you how many layoffs I've survived, and buyouts...).
Yep, the boon toolies is the equivalent of the sticks. It's definitely the land that time (and power) forgets, though not as frequently anymore, and sadly, civilization encroaches more and more each day (except with a decent grocery story nearby - we could use that! *g*).
Hmmm, I'm not sure how much better the fiber optics would be, but it *sounds* like it should be an improvement! I hear you about the hostage comment. You take what you can get...
Although, have you considered satellite? We had that for a while, which wasn't too bad, but it might not be your solution, considering the winds you can get (we get 'em, too, in gusts).
We did finally get a line brought up to our subdivision, and have been happy campers ever since, so... I think you'll like fiber optic. It should be pretty darn zippy. *nods*
Yikes with being behind on the comments! You're so conscientious about it, which I really respect, and you always leave really detailed thoughts, which I know I'm not the only one to love. :-D Don't feel too badly. It's always worth the wait. *g*
Pinata away! Hobbies and chances to say 'Hi' are *always* a good thing! :-D I do intend to get back to SitC! Honest! Just... Not today. ;-)
*crosses self and goes back to organizing... How did I get so many magazines and so much junk mail to sort through, anyway?*
