A new purchase

I just had to share this with you. It's my new laptop, and it's being shipped as of today. Say 'hello' to my little friend. :-D Lots of battery life, high resolution, and super fast. What's not to love?

By the way, this post is for Wish, who was wondering exactly what I'd gotten. This baby was the other candidate. They're definitely different, but the keyboard layout did appeal to me, as well as its' super lightweight size. However, longer battery life required a different battery, which would not have allowed it to sit flat.

One new thing I learned worth mentioning: The new high-definition laptop screen coating makes colors and images brighter but is also quite reflective in regular daylight (here's commentary based on the HP DV1000). If you don't typically write where you can control the lighting, plan accordingly.

Thanks! I got an amazing deal! *g* My husband is the deal-finder of the century, so when we need to purchase something larger, I set him to the task. Of course, it helps that Dell allows for stackable coupons, too. ;-)
